for several decades, scientists, naturalists, and concerned citizens around the world have been cautioning people against the careless use, abuse, and rapid disposal of plastics … fortunately, their message has not dissipated in intensity and it is increasingly more far-reaching … however, considering the explosive rate of global population growth, i wonder if the message is becoming diluted or more concentrated among the proliferating minds populating Earth today …

when i research certain environmental issues, i get the sense that there is such an impressive and inspiring abundance of data, evidence, information, and media available to the masses … i assume that therefore, everyone must realize and appreciate the scope and urgency of our situation — we’re all in this together; what happens to the plants and animals and soil and air and water is happening to humans, as well … even if it may not always directly and immediately be apparent — and i assume that therefore, everyone is shifting  …

however, in my conversations with various people, i realize that there are still so many facts that the general public is really not aware of … ignorance is forgivable … ignorance is solved with education …

for people who don’t live in coastal areas or who have not yet seen, first hand, the pollution that befouls Earth’s oceans, watching spectacular and informative documentaries such as planet earth, blue planet, and national geographic explorer raises your awareness through persuasive narratives that inspire, awe, shock, and dismay … even youtube can be a fabulous, free resource for people with short attention spans (this short video is extremely impelling) …

in all cases, the purpose is to fuel your passion, ignite action, and effect change in your perspectives, habits, and lifestyles …

obstinate stagnation in the global mentality is not an option — it never was … improving the health of the planet can be so easy and simple, provided we cooperate, and remain determined and focused … you don’t need to live by the ocean to help improve its state … water conservation is easier than you may realize (see this post) …

in the end, we will conserve only what we love … we only love what we understand … we only understand what we are taught …

You actually make it seem really easy with your presentation but I’m finding this topic to be something I by no means understand. It sort of feels too complex and extremely extensive for me. I am taking a look ahead in your subsequent publish, I’ll try to get the grasp of it!

It’s hard to find people who are knowledgeable on this topic, but you sound like you know what you’re talking about! You should take part in a contest for one of the best blogs on the web. I will recommend this site!
